Here are lots of great recipes for you to try – each with a step-by-step guide, as well as a lovely recipe PDF for you to download, print off and keep. Before you start, make sure you read the recipe through carefully. Ingredients vary from country to country so it might not always be easy to get hold of everything you need. If this happens, you'll need to use your instincts and swap in something similar that's easily available in your own country. Some ingredients might have different names from the ones you're used to, so it's worth looking them up online if you're unsure, so you don't waste time searching for the wrong thing when you're out shopping.
It's a good idea to make notes directly onto the recipe, of any ingredient swaps you make (remember to keep it safe!), so that you can easily find the information the next time you need it. There are a few other things that can vary from place to place, for example: kitchen utensils and equipment; oven temperatures; weights and measures; food welfare standards; as well as the seasonal calendar and climate. If you're unsure about anything, or want to know more you can always ask your teacher for advice, or research things online to find what best applies to the country you live in. Enjoy!
